How it works

From weather forecast to a rug recommendation.

RugWeather takes the weather at your yard, combines it with your horse's profile, and turns it into a practical recommendation.

01

Your yard

Set your location.

Choose the yard or nearby location you use for turnout. RugWeather uses that location for the local forecast.

02

Your horse

Tell us who we're dressing.

Add the details that affect the recommendation, including age, breed and whether your horse is clipped.

03

The weather

We look beyond temperature.

Temperature, feels-like conditions, wind and rain are considered together rather than treating one number as the whole answer.

04

The recommendation

You get a clear rug call.

The dashboard turns those inputs into a simple recommendation for the next 12 hours, with the surrounding weather shown alongside it.

05

Plan ahead

Know what changes next.

Use the forecast timeline and Plan Ahead to see how the recommendation may change before you are back at the yard.

The result

Less second-guessing. More useful context.

RugWeather is designed to give you a sensible starting point, not to replace checking your horse and the conditions yourself.
